Traveling can put you in many situations and expose you to many things. Every time I hear someone sneeze or cough, I have fear of catching something, especially in close quarters like on an airplane on a train. But, a cold or the flu are not the only things can happen when you’re traveling like, cuts and bruises, headaches and muscle pain, nausea, etc. These non-urgent matters require regular “Over The Counter” medications that can be not so easy to get when you’re on the road.
In preparing for any trip, short or long, I’ve composed a list of OTC’s that I travel with and keep packed in my toiletry bag or shall I say, Rx bag. I also make sure I keep it with me at all times, on the plane, on the bus, in my hotel room, etc
Over the counter medicine list includes
- Cold and Flu Medicine
- Cough Drops or Suppressant
- Antihistamine
- Decongestant
- Diarrhea
- Antacid
- Motion Sickness Medicine
- Pain reliever, fever reducer and anti-inflammatory Medicine
- Mild Laxative
- Sleep Aid
- Anti-bacterial ointment
I certainly have my favorites and I’m sure you do as well so I’m not going to give you brand names.
Yours truly,
